The Vishansar Lake is an alpine high altitude oligotrophic lake situated in the vicinity of Sonamarg at an elevation of 3710 meters. It has a maximum length of 1 kilometer and maximum width of 0.6 kilometers.Vishansar is the shortened word for Vishnusar. This lake holds great importance for Kashmiri Pandits. Vishansar in Kashmiri means the lake of Vishnu is home to many types of fishes among of which is the brown trout.It freezes during winter.

Amarnath cave is a Hindu shrine located in Jammu and Kashmir, India. Shalimar Bagh is a Mughal garden located on the right bank of the Dal Lake in Srinagar. Originally named as ‘Farah Baksh’ (The Delightful), this beautiful garden was built in 1619 by Mughal Emperor Jahangir for his beloved wife Nur Jahan. However, today it is famous as the name of Shalimar Bagh ‘The Garden of Love’. HAZRATBAL SHRINE
Hazratbal Shrine in Srinagar is a famous mosque that holds high reverence amongst Muslims. According to local beliefs, it houses Moi-e-Muqqadas – the sacred hair of Prophet Muhammad's beard. Also known by different names like Assar-e-Sharief, Dargah Sharif and Madinat-us-Sani, this mosque is an epitome of love and devotion of Muslims for the Prophet. The construction of this shrine started in 1968, under the supervision of Muslim Auqaf Trust's Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah.

DACHIGAM WILDLIFE SANCTUARY
Dachigam National Park is located 22 kilometers from Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. It covers an area of 141 km2. The name of the park literally stands for "ten villages" which could be in memory of the ten villages that were relocated for its formation. These ten villages were living in this region before the World War I the beginning of the early 20th century. The main gate entrance is very close to the New Theed general bus stand on the either side of (DARUL ALOOM KOUSARIA)
