Mata Sundri College for Women to Organise an International Conference in Collaboration with The Sikh Review on 17 April 2026
Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi, in collaboration with The Sikh Review, is organising an International Conference on the theme “Gurbani: The Guiding Light for Youth” on 17 April 2026. The conference will be conducted in hybrid mode at the college premises, providing an inclusive platform for participation from across institutions and regions.
The conference seeks to promote scholarly and experiential engagement with the teachings of Gurbani in the context of contemporary youth realities. In today’s rapidly evolving socio-cultural environment, marked by ethical dilemmas, environmental concerns, mental health challenges, and identity-related questions, Gurbani offers a profound philosophical and ethical framework. The conference aims to explore its relevance in fostering ethical leadership, emotional well-being, social harmony, and responsible citizenship among youth.
Designed as an interdisciplinary academic platform, the conference will bring together undergraduate and postgraduate students, research scholars, and faculty members to present original research and engage in meaningful discussions. The initiative also seeks to connect Gurbani’s spiritual wisdom with contemporary global frameworks, including sustainable development, social justice, and community well-being, thereby encouraging a holistic understanding of individual and collective progress.
