The NSS Unit “Parivartan” of Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi, proposes to organise an HIV/AIDS Awareness Talk in collaboration with the Delhi State AIDS Control Society (DSACS), Government of Delhi, as part of its regular youth awareness and community outreach initiatives.

The programme aims to sensitise students and NSS volunteers about HIV/AIDS prevention, transmission, testing, treatment, myths and misconceptions, while promoting awareness about the importance of reducing stigma and discrimination against people living with HIV. The session will also encourage young people to become responsible ambassadors of health awareness in their communities.

Ms. Mamata Mehra, Assistant Director (GIPA) & In-charge of Youth Affairs, Delhi State AIDS Control Society, Government of Delhi, has been invited as the Resource Person to interact with students and share valuable insights and guidance on HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention.

The initiative reflects the commitment of NSS Unit “Parivartan” towards promoting informed, responsible and socially conscious youth participation in public health awareness.
