he NSS Unit “Parivartan” is planning to organise an awareness talk on Nasha Mukti with the objective of sensitising students about the growing challenges associated with substance abuse and addiction. The session will focus on creating awareness about the physical, psychological, social and academic consequences of substance use, while also highlighting the importance of prevention and early intervention. The talk will particularly address issues such as peer pressure, stress, curiosity and social influences that may encourage young people to experiment with addictive substances. Through an engaging and interactive discussion, students will be encouraged to make informed and responsible choices, develop healthy ways of coping with stress and understand the importance of seeking professional support when required. The session will also emphasise that Nasha Mukti is not merely about giving up substances but about reclaiming health, dignity, relationships and one's future. By organising this talk, the NSS Unit aims to empower students to become responsible citizens and active ambassadors of a healthy, aware and drug-free society.
