A one-week online workshop on “Research Methodology and Data Analysis” was organized by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Mata Sundri College for Women, in collaboration with the Resilient Foundation for Academic Innovation & Scientific Research, registered with NITI Aayog, Government of India. The workshop provided participants with in-depth knowledge of research design, data collection techniques, and statistical tools for data analysis. Through interactive sessions and practical demonstrations, it proved to be a transformative academic experience, equipping students and researchers with essential skills to strengthen their scholarly work and research practices.

Event Report

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Mata Sundri College for Women, in collaboration with the Resilient Foundation for Academic Innovation & Scientific Research, organized a one-week online workshop on "Research Methodology & Data Analysis" from April 22 to April 28, 2024. The workshop had around 380 participants and was coordinated by Dr. Lokesh K. Gupta, Dr. Meenu Goel, and Dr. D.K. Yadav. The workshop covered various topics, including the fundamentals of research, data collection tools, and sampling techniques. Participants also gained practical experience with statistical data analysis using SPSS for parametric tests like t-test and ANOVA, as well as non-parametric tests like the Wald-Wolfowitz runs test and Mann-Whitney U test. The sessions also focused on effective research communication, including report writing and publication ethics, emphasizing the importance of avoiding plagiarism. The workshop concluded with guest lectures by Dr. Gayatri Vishwakarma and Dr. Yusuf Akhter.
