The Department of Statistics is organising a Teachers’ Day Celebration and Fresher’s Welcome for the first-year students of Statistics. The event aims to celebrate the dedication of teachers and warmly welcome the new students to the department. It will provide an opportunity for students and faculty to interact, build connections, and create memorable moments through cultural activities and engaging programmes.
Event Report
On September 3, 2026, the Department of Statistics at Mata Sundri College came together in the Bebe Nanki Hall to mark Teachers’ Day, celebrating the occasion with heartfelt warmth and respect. The occasion was planned as a sincere tribute to the faculty, recognising not only their dedication to academics but also their vital role in guiding and shaping the personal growth of their students. Teachers were welcomed with roses at the entrance creating a simple gesture that set a warm tone for the afternoon.
