Short of Attendance Committee
This committee monitors student attendance across all departments and ensures compliance with university norms. It reviews attendance records submitted by departments, identifies students falling short of the minimum requirement, and notifies them accordingly. The committee also facilitates the documentation of valid reasons for absenteeism and conducts hearings for students with genuine concerns.
The committee plays a crucial role during the issuance of admit cards and eligibility clearance before examinations. The goal is to promote regular class participation and maintain academic discipline.
