The NSS Unit “Parivartan” of Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi, proposes to organise a special interaction on “Integrity in Action: Ethics, Accountability and Responsible Citizenship.” The programme aims to sensitise students to the importance of integrity, honesty, accountability, transparency and ethical conduct in personal, professional and public life.
The Director General of Income Tax will be invited as the Distinguished Speaker to engage with students and share valuable insights on the significance of moral ethics and integrity in public service and everyday decision-making. The session will include an interactive discussion and question-and-answer session, providing students an opportunity to engage directly with the dignitary.
The programme will also include an Integrity Pledge and an “Integrity Wall” activity, encouraging students to reflect upon and commit themselves to ethical values and responsible citizenship. The initiative seeks to inspire young people to become responsible, ethical and socially conscious citizens and contribute towards building a transparent and value-based society.

Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi, hosted an insightful programme on “Integrity in Action: Ethics, Accountability and Responsible Citizenship” under the SAMARTH Project on 29 September 2026. We were privileged to welcome Shri Ashish Tripathi, Additional Director General, Income Tax (Vigilance), and Ms. Rinzing O. Bhutia, Joint Director, Income Tax (Vigilance), who engaged with our students on the importance of integrity, ethical decision-making, transparency, accountability and responsible citizenship. The session encouraged students to recognise that integrity is not merely a principle but a value reflected in our everyday choices and actions. The engaging interaction offered valuable perspectives on ethical conduct and the responsibility of young citizens in strengthening a transparent and accountable society.
