NSS Day provides an opportunity to recognise the valuable contributions of NSS volunteers and to encourage students to participate actively in community-oriented activities. It also reinforces the NSS motto, “Not Me But You,” which emphasises selfless service, empathy, teamwork, and responsibility towards society.

The occasion can be marked through orientation programmes, expert talks, interactive sessions, awareness activities, community service initiatives, and felicitation of volunteers, motivating young people to become responsible and socially conscious citizens.
