The Department of English, in collaboration with IQAC, Mata Sundri College for Women, organized a Skill Enhancement Workshop on Canva and PowerPoint on July 1, 2023, at 5:00 PM via Zoom. The session was conducted by Ms. Gargi Mukherjee, an invited industry expert, who introduced participants to effective tools and techniques for creating impactful presentations and designs. The workshop equipped students with practical skills to enhance their academic and professional communication.

Event Report

A Skill Enhancement workshop on Canva and PowerPoint was conducted by the Department of English in collaboration with IQAC, Mata Sundri College for Women on July 1, 2023. The workshop was held virtually via Zoom and was led by industry expert Ms. Gargi Mukherjee. Ms. Mukherjee has over ten years of experience as a Team Manager in Global Communications at Cognizant Technology Services. The workshop included a two-hour, hands-on session where Ms. Mukherjee demonstrated the use of Canva and Microsoft PowerPoint for students at a beginner level. She also addressed questions from the students. The workshop was well-received by all attendees, which included about 100 students and a few faculty members from other departments. The session concluded with a vote of thanks from the Head of the English Department, Dr. Divya Pradhan, and Ms. Hema Sen.
