Mata Sundri College for Women Bids a Heartfelt Farewell to the Graduating Batch Through an Evening of Performances, Celebration, and Camaraderie

The Student Union of Mata Sundri College for Women organised the Farewell 2026 celebration, titled “Memoire”, on 6 May 2026 with the evocative theme “Memories and Growth.” The event was dedicated to celebrating the journey, achievements, and cherished moments of the graduating students, creating an atmosphere filled with nostalgia, joy, and togetherness.

The programme commenced at approximately 11:45 AM with a warm welcome for the attendees, followed by the felicitation of esteemed teachers, student advisors, and judges in recognition of their guidance and support. The celebration witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and was marked by vibrant energy throughout the day. Adding to the ambience was a live musical performance held in front of the Audi Building from 12 PM to 1 PM, which further enriched the festive spirit of the occasion.

The event featured a series of engaging segments, beginning with the first ramp walk round, where participants showcased confidence and elegance, followed by an introduction round that allowed each participant to present themselves before the audience. Various cultural performances and interactive audience activities were interspersed throughout the programme, maintaining an enthusiastic and lively atmosphere.

The second phase of the celebration included the talent round, where participants displayed diverse artistic abilities through dance, music, and other performances. Audience engagement activities and interactive games added to the celebratory mood, eventually leading to the final question-answer round for the participants. The programme also included audience tags, add-on performances, and a concluding ramp walk that brought together participants and attendees in a spirited celebration.

One of the most anticipated moments of the event was the announcement of Nikki Chhabra as Miss Farewell 2026, along with the declaration of the runners-up and the presentation of special titles and tags. The festivities continued with a high-energy live DJ performance from 1 PM to 2:30 PM, which became a memorable highlight of the farewell celebration.

The event concluded with tokens of appreciation being presented to the anchors and to Geetika Das for her continuous guidance, encouragement, and support towards the participants throughout the preparations. With heartfelt moments, celebrations, and shared memories, Memoire 2026 came to a memorable close at approximately 4:15 PM, leaving the graduating batch with a meaningful farewell and lasting memories of their time at the institution.
