A Two-Day Celebration of Devotion and Cultural Harmony

Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi, hosted its Annual Bani Competition Event on 12th and 13th November 2025, continuing its cherished tradition of blending spirituality with creativity. The two-day event brought together students from various schools across Delhi, who participated with enthusiasm and devotion in a range of inter-school competitions.

The event featured multiple competitions including Bani Recitation, Kirtan, Declamation, and Painting, each reflecting a different aspect of Sikh culture and expression. Participants showcased their talent and understanding through soulful recitations, expressive speeches, and creative artworks inspired by spiritual themes. The performances created an atmosphere of reverence, inspiration, and learning throughout the college premises.

Distinguished guests, faculty members, and judges graced the occasion and appreciated the dedication and effort of all participants. The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, recognising schools and students who excelled across the different categories.

Under the guidance of Prof. Harpreet Kaur (Principal), the event was conducted smoothly with the active involvement of faculty and student volunteers. The Bani Competition 2025 once again reaffirmed the college’s commitment to fostering spiritual growth, artistic expression, and inter-institutional harmony, making it one of the most meaningful and awaited annual events on the college calendar.
