Virast Sikhism Trust Celebrates Founder's Day at Mata Sundri College
The Virast Sikhism Trust organized a grand celebration of Founder's Day at Delhi’s Mata Sundri College. On this special occasion, the Trust honoured several dignitaries and distinguished individuals for their valuable contributions to the Sikh community and society. The program aimed to honor those who have served the Sikh faith and worked for the welfare of the Panth (Sikh community). Renowned Sikh historian Bibi Navtej Kaur was felicitated with the Sikh Heritage Award. Chairperson of the Virast Sikhism Trust, Mr. Ranjit Singh Virast, expressed that it is the Trust’s mission to recognize such individuals whose contributions keep the community connected with its glorious heritage. The event was graced by Principal Dr. Harpreet Kaur, who appreciated the efforts of the Trust. She emphasized that such programs inspire the youth to stay connected with their roots. Mr. Ranjit Singh said that Sikhism is not just a religion but a way of life that promotes equality, justice, and service to humanity. Honoring contributors like Bibi Navtej Kaur is a step toward celebrating these ideals.
