Mata Sundri College for Women has been honoured with the Best Gandhi Study Circle 2026 Award for its exemplary work in promoting Gandhian philosophy and values among the youth. These initiatives have encouraged reflection on values such as truth, non-violence, peace, social responsibility, ethical citizenship and community engagement.
The recognition reflects the College’s continued endeavour to nurture socially conscious and responsible young citizens and to create meaningful avenues for students to understand and engage with ideas that have shaped India’s social and political thought.
The award was received by Prof. Rouble Rani Sharma, Convenor, Gandhi Study Circle, Department of Political Science, on behalf of Mata Sundri College for Women.
