A formal Peer Mentoring Programme was launched for the students of History Honours on 28th October 2020 under the mentorship of Dr. Simmi Kapoor Mehta. The initiative was planned to ensure meaningful student interaction during the Covid-19 period through the Google Chat platform.

The following seven students were part of the programme:

• Vartika (HIS/18/70)

• Kritika (HIS/18/23)

• Ifra (HIS/18/51)

• Saumya Tiwari (HIS/18/41)

• Shivangi Rai (HIS/18/76)

• Deeksha Khandelwal (HIS/18/24)

• Shreyasi Dutta (HIS/18/4)

These peer mentors actively supported their juniors by resolving queries and providing guidance through Google Chat. They also organized interactive meetings via Google Meet on 18th January 2021, 3rd February 2021, and 13th February 2021 to further assist and counsel their juniors.
