Kalpvriksh

Kalpvriksh is the dynamic photography and videography society of Mata Sundri College for Women, committed to nurturing creativity and visual storytelling among students. The society encourages students to develop and refine their technical skills in photography and videography while fostering innovation and original expression. It provides a welcoming platform where aspiring artists can showcase their talent and gain valuable experience.

Since its formation in 2021, Kalpvriksh has played a vital role in documenting the vibrant life of the college. Members actively capture key events including Teacher’s Day, Fresher’s Day, The College fest, Annual day, various workshops, lectures and more. These activities not only enhance members’ skills but also contribute to preserving the college’s memorable moments.

The society also organizes photo walks to iconic cultural and historical locations such as Janpath, Jantar Mantar, and Humayun’s Tomb, offering students hands-on opportunities to explore diverse environments and improve their craft. Beyond campus, Kalpvriksh promotes participation in inter-college photography and videography competitions, where members have consistently demonstrated passion, creativity, and technical expertise.

The society aims to unearth students’ creative potential, encourage emotional and intellectual expression through visual media, and increase awareness about career opportunities in the field. Additionally, it highlights the power of photography and videography as tools for social change, raising awareness about critical social issues, and preserving nature, culture, and history for future generations. Through its diverse activities, Kalpvriksh fosters artistic development, social responsibility, and community engagement among its members, enriching the cultural fabric of the college.
