The Quiz Up Society at Mata Sundri College is a dynamic platform dedicated to promoting general knowledge and fostering a spirit of intellectual curiosity among students. Established in the early 1990s, the society conducts an annual General Knowledge (G.K.) test that challenges students and encourages intellectual growth. 

The quiz competition comprises two rounds. The first round is a preliminary multiple-choice question (MCQ) test, serving as a screening process to select the most knowledgeable participants. Those who qualify advance to the final round, which features diverse question formats, including audio-visual, hint-based, and other engaging rounds that test a wide range of skills and knowledge. Each year, the two students with the highest scores earn the honor of representing the college in various inter-college quiz competitions across Delhi. 

The society attracts enthusiastic participation, with approximately 200 to 300 students engaging annually, reflecting the growing interest in quizzing and preparation for competitive exams. The active participation in such competition not only enhances student’s competitive skills but also fosters a culture of curiosity and continuous learning within the college community initially, the G.K. test used to conduct as part of the college’s annual Saarang festival under the Brain-Teaser Competition. 

The Quiz Up Society now operates independently, organizing its own dedicated quiz events and competitions. The society has also been entrusted with conducting university-level Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) trials for quiz contests. Through its efforts, the Quiz up Society continues to inspire students to expand their knowledge, sharpen their analytical skills, and develop confidence that benefits them academically and beyond.
