Debattle, the debating Society at Mata Sundri College is dedicated to nurturing effective communication, critical thinking, and persuasive argumentation among students. It serves as a platform where members can sharpen their debating skills, enhance their confidence, and engage in meaningful discussions on diverse social, political, and academic topics. 

Regular workshops, practice sessions, and interactive discussions form the core of the society’s activities, fostering a culture of analytical reasoning and eloquent expression. Members actively participate in intra- and inter-college debating competitions, representing the college at prestigious forums and events organized across the country. The society’s participants have earned accolades in competitions organised by various institutions.

 Apart from competitive debating, the Debattle Society organizes its own annual debate competition as part of the college’s cultural festival, Saarang. The society has also organized Model United Nations (MUN) conferences, providing students with practical experience in diplomacy, negotiation, and international relations. The society collaborates with external organizations and participates in debates on significant social issues at forums such as the All India Committee for Eradication of Illiteracy among Women (AICEIW), the National Commission for Women, and the All India Women’s Conference (AIWC).

 These engagements enrich members’ perspectives and encourage active citizenship. By fostering these qualities, the Debattle Society empowers students to become confident communicators, critical thinkers, and socially aware individuals ready to contribute effectively in academic and professional arenas.
