Rooted in the spiritual ethos of our institution, the Divinity Society stands as a vibrant center for nurturing values of compassion, truth, integrity, and interfaith harmony. Anchored in the Sikh philosophical tradition, the society aspires to deepen the moral and spiritual consciousness of students while encouraging dialogue across diverse faiths and belief systems.
The society plays an instrumental role in fostering a campus environment grounded in ethical reflection and universal human values. With a strong emphasis on inner growth, the Divinity Society organizes a rich array of activities throughout the academic year — including Shabad and Kirtan Darbars, interfaith seminars, conferences, divinity visits, and observances of Gurpurabs and other spiritual commemorations.
These engagements cultivate a sense of collective belonging and spiritual awareness within the college community. A distinctive tradition upheld by the society is the observance of Aarambh Sahej Paath at the beginning of the academic year, culminating with the Samapan Ardaas. The annual Mata Sundri Simriti Diwas, celebrated on 12th March, marks the Founder’s Day and is a deeply revered event. The weekly Diwan Sahib held every Thursday at the College Gurdwara offers a space for students to engage in recitation and devotional music.
The society also hosts the much-anticipated “Bani-Kirtan and Declamation Competition,” welcoming participants from across Delhi-NCR. Through its initiatives, the Divinity Society continues to inspire students to embody a life of reflection, service, and spiritual inquiry, nurturing a community grounded in the values of unity and universal brotherhood.
