Uddham

Uddham, the Entrepreneurship Cell of Mata Sundri College for Women, was established in January 2021 under the guidance of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in collaboration with the Department of Commerce. The cell was founded with the vision of nurturing entrepreneurial potential and fostering innovation among students, encouraging them to become self-reliant and socially responsible change makers.
Uddham aims to cultivate a start-up mind set by exposing students to the dynamic world of entrepreneurship through hands-on learning experiences. The cell regularly organizes seminars, workshops, and interactive sessions on topics such as business idea development, financial literacy, digital marketing, start-up funding, and legal compliance. Guest lectures by entrepreneurs and industry experts provide valuable insight into real-world challenges and success stories.
To encourage creative thinking and innovation, Uddham also hosts business plan competitions, pitch presentations, case study analyses, and entrepreneurship awareness drives. These activities are designed to bridge academic learning with practical application, helping students develop core competencies like leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving. Uddham operates on the belief of “creating excellence” rather than merely chasing it.
The cell actively works to transform ideas into impactful ventures while building a supportive and inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem on campus. It promotes independent thinking and inspires students to approach problems with business-oriented solutions that are sustainable and socially meaningful. By connecting aspiring entrepreneurs with mentors, resources, and opportunities, Uddham empowers students to turn their visions into ventures and contribute meaningfully to the community and economy.
