The Aarsi Sahit Sabha of the Punjabi Department at Mata Sundri College for Women celebrated “Maa Boli Diwas” on 21st February 2024. The event commenced with Dr. Veenakshi Sharma (Convenor) presenting a brief yet insightful analysis on the significance of International Mother Tongue Day. This was followed by Prof. Gurjit Kaur (TIC, Punjabi Department), who further enriched the discussion by highlighting the importance of preserving and promoting one’s mother tongue in contemporary times.
