Mosquito Breeding-Free Campus Campaign will be organised at Mata Sundri College for Women to create awareness among students and staff about preventing mosquito breeding and maintaining a clean and healthy campus. The campaign will focus on identifying and eliminating potential mosquito-breeding sites such as stagnant water in pots, coolers, drains, containers and other areas.

Mosquito Breeding-Free Campus Campaign Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi, organised a “Mosquito Breeding-Free Campus Campaign” on 29 September 2026 in collaboration with the Public Health Department, Old Delhi Zone, Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). The initiative was organised with the objective of creating awareness among students about mosquito breeding, mosquito-borne diseases and the importance of preventive measures for maintaining a clean, hygienic and healthy campus environment.The programme featured an informative awareness session by Dr. Mamta, who sensitised students about the conditions that encourage mosquito breeding and the need for regular preventive action. She explained that stagnant water, even in small quantities, can become a potential breeding site and therefore requires regular monitoring and removal.
