The Department of Environmental Studies organized a movie screening of “Kadvi Hawa – A Concern on Climate Change” on November 10, 2023, at 1:30 pm in Mata Gujri Hall. The event, convened by Dr. Kavita Singh and held with the permission of Prof. Pooja Jaggi (Coordinator, EVS), highlighted the urgent issue of climate change through cinematic storytelling. With 30 registrations and 25 participants in attendance, the screening offered students an engaging platform to reflect on environmental challenges and the need for sustainable action.

The Department of Environmental Studies at Mata Sundri College for Women screened the movie "Kadvi Hawa - A Concern on Climate Change" on November 10, 2023. The film highlighted the struggles of farmers and the consequences of climate change, such as farmer suicides in drought and flood-prone areas. The event, attended by 25 students, aimed to raise awareness about environmental issues. The principal, Prof. Harpreet Kaur, spoke about the role of youth in environmental protection, and the event was considered educational and positive by the attendees.
