he NSS Unit “Parivartan” of Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi is organising a Nasha Mukt Bharat Awareness Programme to sensitise students and youth about the harmful effects of substance abuse and promote a healthy, responsible and drug-free lifestyle.
The programme is aligned with the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA) of the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India, which focuses on awareness, prevention, community participation and demand reduction related to substance abuse
Event Report
The Nasha Mukt Yuva Programme, organised by the NSS Unit “Parivartan” of Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi, on 18 September 2026, successfully promoted awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse and the importance of adopting a healthy and drug-free lifestyle. The Zumba session conducted by Ms. Ishika, followed by the Youth Pledge and Signature Campaign, encouraged students to choose fitness, positivity and responsible living. The enthusiastic participation of students and NSS volunteers strengthened the message of youth responsibility and collective commitment towards building a healthy, aware and drug-free society. The programme reflected the NSS motto “Not Me But You” through active youth participation and community-oriented awareness.
