As part of the School Collaboration – SAHYOG Community Outreach Initiative, the Department of Elementary Education and the Department of Punjabi, Mata Sundri College for Women, jointly organized a workshop on “Punjab di Lokdhara” on 4th December 2023 for the students of Sri Guru Harkrishan Khalsa Girls Senior Secondary School.
The workshop aimed to introduce students to the rich cultural heritage and folk traditions of Punjab, fostering awareness and appreciation of regional identity through interactive learning and engagement

The Departments of Elementary Education and Punjabi at Mata Sundri College for Women organized a workshop on "Punjab di Lokdhara" on December 4, 2023. The workshop, which was part of the School collaboration-SAHYOG Community outreach initiative, was held at Sri Guru Harkrishan Khalsa Girls Senior Secondary School and was attended by 46 students. The resource person, Dr. Veenakshi Sharma, shared insights on the sayings, metaphors, folk songs, and folktales of Punjab. The event also featured a gidda performance by students from Mata Sundri College.
