An event commemorating the Prakash Utsav of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji was organized by the Minority Cell of Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi, to celebrate his life, philosophy, and enduring legacy. The programme featured an engaging quiz on the life, teachings, and contributions of Sri Guru Nanak Sahib, encouraging active student participation and deeper reflection on his message of equality, compassion, and spiritual unity. This was followed by an insightful presentation by Prof. Daljit Kaur on “Revisiting Guru Nanak through Sikh Paintings,” which explored visual interpretations of the Guru’s life and teachings within the rich tradition of Sikh art. The event provided a meaningful platform for academic engagement and cultural reflection.
