Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi, in collaboration with Earthcon – The Eco Club, Department of Environmental Studies, Viksit Bharat Ambassador Club, and Debattle – The Debating Society, is organizing an Intra-College Debate Competition on the occasion of World Ozone Day.

- Prizes: Trophies for the top two winners and e-certificates for all participants.
The event aims to encourage students to critically examine the environmental costs of development, with particular focus on ozone layer depletion, environmental priorities, and sustainable development. It provides a platform for students to express their views, engage in constructive debate, and develop awareness of contemporary environmental challenges.
Event Report
An intra-college debate on “Development at What Cost? Rethinking Environmental Priorities” was held on 16 September 2026 at Mata Sundri College for Women on the occasion of World Ozone Day. The event was jointly organised by Earthcon, the Department of Environmental Studies, Viksit Bharat Ambassador Club, and Debattle. The debate encouraged students to explore the balance between development, environmental sustainability, and ozone layer protection while strengthening their analytical and public-speaking skills.
