The Department of Punjabi, established in 1967, stands as a vibrant centre of cultural and linguistic excellence at Mata Sundri College for Women. Rooted in a post-Partition vision to preserve Punjabi identity in Delhi, the department has since grown under the leadership of eminent scholars, with a deep commitment to literary and cultural scholarship.
