The annual cultural festival was held from 7th to 9th February. The festival began with the inaugural ceremony in the presence of the College Governing Body members and the Principal. This was followed by Guru Nanak Paper Reading Competition in which many teams participated. The topic of the competition was 'Relevance of Guru Nanak's Teachings in the Contemporary World”.
The Divinity Society of the College presented a skit titled “Kiv Kudde Tute Paal” – How can the veil of illusion be torn away? It was based on the two younger sahibzaades of Guru Gobind Singh ji gaining martyrdom at the mere age of 5 and 7 years. The play was directed by the team of “Tram- Impact Arts” Gurjant Singh, S. Harpreet Singh and Mrs. Upasana Batra Sahota. The play showed the significance of the sacrifice of two younger sahibzaades of Guru Gobind Singh Ji – Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji which was beautifully enacted by the students. The play was highly appreciated by the audience.
On7th February, Debate on the topic “Should Cell Phone be used during Class”, Kavita- a competition on self-composed poems, Ghazal, Rang Barse- Mehandi and Rangoli, Classical, Folk and Group Song, Sanskrit Shlokavritti, Sanskrit Prashanmanch, Funk out of Junk, Folk Dance, Ad O Mania and Hunar-e-Kagaz - a Paper Art Competitions were held.
On 8th February Hoonkar- the Nukkad Natak competition, Antakashri, Brain Teaser- Quiz competition, Thirak- Solo Classical Dance and Western Dance Competitions were held. The Live Performance of “The White Walkers Band” in Antakshari was appreciated by everyone. Two new events were introduced this year. IT Web Page Design Competition ( Offline) on the theme “Repurposing: The Ultimate in Creativity and Recycling” and Eco-Evolution on the theme “Conceptual Model Competition For Contering Environment” were held.
On 9th February, renowned Punjabi Singer Noddy Singh and DJ Tatva K mesmerized the audience with their performance. In all 13 academic and 10 cultural events were held. There were 150 teams in which 900 participants participated in 23 events. 45 colleges took part in the festival. Apart from Delhi University colleges, other universities of Delhi and NCR such as Jamia Millia Islamia, Amity University, IGNOU, I.P. University, Lal Bhadur Shastri Sanskrit Vidyapeeth also took part in the festival. The three day festival was successfully organised with the active involvement of students and staff.
