The Placement and Internship Cell of Mata Sundri College for Women plays a crucial role in providing job placement and internship opportunities to its students and organizing skill development sessions so that students learn and understand how to showcase their abilities in the best possible way. It organizes and extends services towards collaborative activities for the development of technical and soft skills in terms of career planning and goal setting. Due to the Covid’19 pandemic situation, online campus drives were conducted by recruiters from various sectors such as Software, Data Analytics, Education, Travel, Consulting, Sales & Marketing and Finance, including big brands such as Deloitte, ISA Global, Knowledge Excel, PlanetSpark, D.E. Shaw & Co. and Byjus, offering the annual package ranging from 2LPA to 7.1 LPA. 10 students got package more than 3LPA. Also, a huge number of online internships were offered this year in diverse fields of E-Text Editing, Voice Art, Marketing, PR & Collaboration, Research and Ideation, Graphic Designing, Content Creation, HR and Digital Marketing. The college is also associated with the Central Placement Cell, University of Delhi. Career Guidance & Training Sessions such as Profile Building for Top Universities, Future skills to boost employability, Awareness Session on Bridging the gap between Academia and Industry, Mastering G-Suite Tools for effective Teaching & Learning, CV Building & Personality Development Sessions, Webinars on Online Safety, Financial Markets, Civil Services and Career Mentoring were organized virtually in the Academic Session 2020-21.

The Placement and Internship Cell Team is headed by the Dr. Ashema Hasti (convenor) and Dr. Harshmeeta Kaur Soni (Co-Convener). The student team is headed by Ekangi Valecha (President) and Garima Chawla (Vice-President) and 21 other members.

The purpose of the placement cell is to guide the students to choose right career and give knowledge, skill, aptitude, and meet the manpower requirements of the industry with an aim to inculcate the concept of discipline, confidence and desire to excel in all the phases of life. It serves as an interface between the students and the recruiters. It also networks with the Central Placement Cell, University of Delhi.The placement cell also carriesout” Personality Development Workshops”.

The Industry is always on the lookout for students who are vibrant, energetic,and ready to accept challenges and are attentive, have a good academic background, are fast learners as well as those who are open to learning even at work and more importantly, possess good communication skills. The Placement & Internship Cell is a team of diligent individuals striving together towards calling the maximum possible companies to the campus for placements.
