Sports Achievers

2019-20

  1. Sneha BA (P) 2 nd Year secured 1 st position in Delhi University Inter-College Boxing Tournament.
  2. Yashika Psychology (H) 1 st Year participated in the 3 rd International Kyorugi and PooMsae Taekwondo Championship held in Kathmandu, Nepal and won 1 silver and 1 bronze medal. She also participated in Junior National Wushu Championship held at Dausa, Rajasthan and secured 2nd position.
  3. Sandeep Maths (H) 1 st Year participated in Junior National Volleyball Championship held at Laxmi Public School, Karkardooma, New Delhi and won 1st position.
  4. Kalpana History (H) 1 st Year participated in Ultimate Frisbee Sectional Championship held at Ashoka University, Sonipat, Haryana and secured 1st position. She won 3rd position in the Ultimate Frisbee National Championship held at Ahmedabad. She has been selected for the India team for the competition to be held in Sweden (which has been postponed until further notice due to COVID-19).
  5. Our college team secured 3rd rank in Delhi University Inter-College Judo Competition, 2019 held at DUSC Sports Council, University of Delhi with 4 gold, 1 silver and 5 bronze medals.
  6. The College team of six girls, participated in Senior National Boules Championship (W) held at Shirdi, Maharashtra in Single/Doubles/Team Event categories and won 3 gold along with 3 bronze medals overall.
  7. Our college team is ranked 2nd among Delhi University Wrestling teams, with 2 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 5 bronze medals, all won at the Delhi University InterCollege Wrestling Tournament, 2019 held at Chhatarsal Stadium, New Delhi.

2018-19

  1. Komal B.Com. (P)1st Year secured 1st position in All-India National Boxing Championship held at Haryana.
  2. Yashika Psychology from (H) 1st Year won 1 silver and 1 bronze medal in the 3rd International Kyorugi and PooMsae Taekwondo Championship held in Kathmandu, Nepal.
  3. Kalpana from History (H) 1st Year secured 1st position in Ultimate Frisbee Sectional Championship held at Ashoka University, Sonipat, Haryana and 3rd position in the Ultimate Frisbee National Championship held at Ahmedabad.
  4. Mankeerat Kaur from Psychology (H) 3rd Year secured 1st Place in the Under-22 Single Stick category in Gatka National Championship, 2019 held at Amritsar, Punjab.

2017-18

  1. Meenakshi Negi from History (H.) 2nd Year went with the team of SO Bharat as Football Coach to the Olympics World Games 2019 held from 14 - 21st March at Abu Dhabi,UAE.
  2. Under her guidance the team secured Bronze Medal in this prestigious tournament. Akriti from B.C. (P.) Ist year won Gold medal in National Level Judo Championship held at Vishakhapatnam.
  3. Arunika from Pol.Sc.(H.) III year won Gold medal in Archery at Yamuna Sports Kaushiki from B. A. (P.) II year won Gold medal in Archery at State Tournament held at Jharkhand.
  4. Asthatanwar from B.Com. (H) II year won Gold medal in Taekwondo at State Tournament held at Thyagraj Stadium Deepanjali from B.A.(P.) III year won Gold medal in Yoga at a state tournament held at Delhi.

2016-17

  1. Kanika Chauhan (BAP) Won Gold Medal at the Indo-Bhutan Volleyball Exchange Student Games 2017 held at Phuentsholing, Bhutan in Sept,2017.
  2. Vanika Kamboj (B.Com (H) and Asha Tanwar(B.Com (H) won Gold Medal in Taekwondo at PAP Stadium, Patiala.
  3. Deepanjali BAP/152 Won gold medal in Yoga at KIIT University.
  4. At the Delhi University Inter-College Championship Mahima BAP/287 won Gold medal in Wrestling.
  5. Arti (BAP) on Gold medal in Weightlifting tournament held at NSIT, Dwarka.

2015-16

  1. Yashika Gulati, Divya Sharma & Shalini Tyagi participated in Asian Junior & Cadet Kurash Championship held at Taoyuan city NTSU-China and bagged one Silver and 2 Bronze medals.
  2. Supriya Hindi(H) 3rd yr won BEST PLAYER OF THE TOURNAMENT title at Rockit Ball Senior National Championship held at Beas, Punjab.
  3. Rashmeet Kaur B.Com(P) 1st yr represented Delhi University at the All India Gatka Championship held at Patiala, Punjab and won Bronze Medal.
  4. Amrita Kaur represented Delhi State in Kai Cadet/ Junior & 21 year National Karate and won Silver Medal.
  5. Amrita Kaur secured 2nd position in All India Independence Cup Karate-Do Championship held in Delhi.
  6. Yashika Gulati won Gold Medal , Divya Sharma & Shalini Tyagi won silver medals in 4th Junior & Cadet Kurash Championship held in Noida.
  7. Krishna, Pooja and Damini won the silver medal and Vinita won bronze medal at the National Yoga Championship (RKYK) held at Jind, Haryana.
  8. Pooja Pal won the Gold Medal at the 2nd National Yoga & Sports Championship held at Chhattisgarh.
  9. Karuna Ahuja B.Com(H) 2nd yr represented Delhi State at Indian Kort Ball League held in Gurgaon. The team secured 1st place and won cash prize of Rs. 1lac.

2014-15

  1. Shruti B.Com(H) 2nd yr represented Delhi Kho-Kho team at the NCC National Games held in Delhi Cantt. and won 1st position.
  2. Shruti B.Com(H) 2nd yr represented Delhi Rockit Ball team at the Senior National Rockit Ball Championship held in Amritsar and won 3rd position.
  3. Ritu B.Com(P) 1st yr represented Delhi Rockit Ball team at the Junior National Rockit Ball Championship held in Anandpur Sahib, Punjab and won 2nd position.

2010-11

  1. First Invitational Karate- Do National Championship 2010-11 held at Gurgaon.
  2. Amritpal Kaur Punjabi(H) 1st yr won 2 Gold medals.
  3. Mamta B.A(P) 1st yr won 2Gold & 1 silver medal.
  4. Vaishali Arora B.El.Ed 2nd yr won Gold & Bronze medal.
  5. Krishna B.El.Ed 2nd yr won Silver & Bronze medal.

  1. Jyoti 1st position in Judo (70 kg) Senior National Judo Championship at Cuttack (Orissa).
  2. Jyoti and Sapna, Selected in National Kabaddi team at Bombay.
  3. Arti, 1st position at National Karate at Talkatora Stadium.

2002-03

  1. Sangeeta (M.A.Previous) represented India and got 3rd position in Judo International Level (Asian Championship).
  2. Anuradha (B.Com (P) 2nd year) got 2nd position in All India Universities Competition in Kabaddi.
  3. Sangeeta (B.A.(P) 2nd year) got 3rd position by representing Delhi in SR National Kabaddi championship.
  4. Sangeeta (M.A.Previous) 3rd position in Senior National Throw Ball.
  5. Sangeeta (MA Previous) got 3rd position in National Games (Boxing).
