A training program titled- “Empowering Youth as Peacebuilders”, that seeks to catalyze young individuals' potential as peace agents and advocates for positive change in their communities, was organised by the Peace Club of Mata Sundri College for Women, Delhi University, in collaboration with the Global Peace Foundation (GPF), India on 5th April 2024 in Mata Gujri Hall. The event commenced at 10 am with the headcount of more than 50 students from various colleges affiliated to the University of Delhi.
The Inaugural Ceremony of Jesus & Mary College Peace Club was organised by the Department of Physical Education of the college, affiliated to Delhi University, in collaboration with the Universal Peace Federation of India, on 22nd March 2024 in the event hall at 11:30 AM. The headcount of the event was observed to be more than 80.
In honour of the historic cultural bond shared between India and South Korea, the Welcoming Ceremony of the 40 Korean students, celebrating the beginning of their 21-days visit to India for the success of the project_ “Mother of Peace Service”, was organised on 7th January 2024 in Multipurpose Hall, India International Centre, New Delhi.
An Orientation of Peace Club Batch 2023-24 was organised by the Peace Club of Mata Sundri College for Women, affiliated to University of Delhi, on 26th October 2023 at Mata Gujri Hall. A warm welcome was extended to the esteemed chief guest, Dr. Krishna Adhikari by Dr.Moitri Dey and invited Principal, Prof.Harpreet Kaur for her opening remarks. Prof. Kaur highlighted the importance of peace building in the society and how youth can play an important role to bring that change.
