An online Inter- disciplinary research mentoring session On 'Some Endangered festivals and their importance' was organized by the Department of Sanskrit On 18th February 2021 at 2p.m
Three interdisciplinary research mentoring groups were formed by the Department of Sanskrit.

SANSKRIT INTERDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH
RESEARCH UNDERTAKEN:Rituals related to birds and animals,
Importance of various creatures such as crows, snakes, cows and the calf and also discussed
the significance of Govardhan puja, Yam dwitiya and other many festivals that are celebrated
around the time of Diwali.
