Fee Concession and Scholarship Details

Fee Concession for the academic year 2024-2025
For the academic year 2024-2025 a total amount of Rs. 17,52, 684 (Rupees Seventeen Lakhs Fifty-Two Thousand and Six Hundred and Eighty Four Only) was given as Fee concession to 171 students. This is an endeavor towards extending support to the weaker section of the society and giving back to the community.
Three students were awarded fee concession for Rs. 20,000/- in total under Mrs. Gulbir Kaur Fee Concession scheme.
Scholarships Awarded in 2023-2024
NSP – Central Sector Scheme for Scholarships For College and University Students Operational since 2008 the objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to the meritorious students having family income of less than Rs. 6 lakh per annum, to meet their day-to-day expenses while pursuing higher studies. 3 students were awarded this scholarship in 2023-2024.
Kalpana Chawla Chatravriti Yojana – Himachal Pradesh Launched in 2012-13 by the Government of Himachal Pradesh in honor of the late astronaut Kalpana Chawla, the "Kalpana Chawla Chatravriti Yojana" is a scholarship scheme that provides financial assistance to girls of Himachal Pradesh who belong to economically weaker sections and wish to pursue higher education without any financial burden, achieve their career goals and become self-reliant. 1 students from our college was selected for this scholarship in 2023-2024.
NSP Post Matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities The aim of this scholarship is to help students with disabilities to pursue higher studies and to enable them to move towards a dignified life. 7 students from the college have been awarded this scholarship in 2023-2024.
NSP Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme For Central Armed Police Forces and Assam Rifles The NSP Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme for Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assam Rifles is an initiative under the National Scholarship Portal (NSP), aimed at supporting higher education for the wards and widows of personnel from CAPFs and Assam Rifles. This scheme recognizes the sacrifices made by these forces and helps their families pursue quality education. 2 students from the college have been awarded this scholarship in 2023-2024.
Delhi Government E-Dist Post Matric Scholarship Schemes for SC, OBC and Minority Students This scheme was started with the purpose of awarding scholarships to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections of minority community so as to provide them better opportunities for higher education, increase their rate of attainment in higher education and enhance their employability. 12 students from the college have benefited from this scheme in 2023-2024.
Faculty-Supported Corpus Fund for Meritorious Students In a commendable display of commitment to academic excellence and social equity, the faculty members of our college have generously contributed to a dedicated corpus fund. This fund is aimed at supporting academically meritorious students who may face financial constraints. The interest generated from the corpus is utilized to provide scholarships, educational aids, and special incentives, ensuring that talent is nurtured regardless of economic background. This initiative reflects the faculty’s deep-rooted belief in empowering the next generation of scholars and leaders.

1. This year, the Raj Kalra Psychology Scholarship benefited 2 students with a total disbursement of ₹2200.
2. The Usha Aggarwal Tejaswita Scholarship was awarded to 3 deserving students from B.Com Prog, amounting to ₹9,300/-.
3. Under the Ulfat Rai Jain Scholarship, 3 students from undergraduate and master’s level received support totaling ₹2,700/-.
4. A significant contribution was made through the Sultan Chand Dropadi Devi Scholarship, aiding 2 students with ₹10,200.
5. Additionally, the Usha Dev Sanskrit Scholarship extended financial assistance to 22 students, with a total distribution of ₹48,700.
6. In addition, the Smt. Krishan Pujari & Pt. Guru Das Trikla Memorial Award was presented to 2 students, each receiving ₹5,000.
7. The Smt. Bhagwati Devi & Genda Lal Pachauri Memorial Award also supported 2 students with ₹5,000 each.
8. The Bakhshi Inderjit Singh & Mata Iqbal Kaur Scholarship recognized 3 students from the Department of Punjabi with ₹1,100 each.
9. Furthermore, the Prof. Jaswant Singh Phull Memorial Award was conferred upon a student from the Department of Political Science with a grant of ₹3,000.
