OVERVIEW

Undergraduate research mentoring projects for students aims at:

  • Better understanding of published research by students
  • Guides them to determine an area of interest
  • Students discover their passion for research
  • Learn to balance collaborative and individual work
  • Can pursue their careers as researchers
  • Brings in Awareness and investigative attitude

The Research Mentoring Project is structured as follows:

  • Understanding the Basics of Research
  • Identification of Research Objectives
  • Undertaking Literature Review
  • Formulation of research Hypothesis
  • Research Methodology
  • Data Collection and Analysis
  • Summarizing Findings
  • Publishing the research work in a journal of repute

  1. Organizational Behaviour
    • Research Project on Organizational Behaviour - Under the Guidance of Ms. Gurvinder Kaur
    • Title - Well-being of Human Resource
    • Selected students have undergone an Orientation on Basics of Research
    • Ana Kamaal, Japleen Kaur and Kanwaljeet Kaur along with mentor, Gurvinder Kaur co -authored a paper on review of literature “Antecedents of Employee Well-being: A Review of Empirical Studies” which was published in a peer reviewed journal “International Research Journal of Management Sociology & Humanities” Vol 12 Issue 10 [Year 2021] ISSN 2277 – 9809 (0nline)

    • Research Project on Finance - Under the Guidance of Dr. Harshmeeta Kaur Soni
    • Title - Risk Management in the Banking Sector
    • Selected students have undergone an Orientation on Basics of Research

  3. Marketing
    • Research Project on Marketing - Under the Guidance of Dr. Ishpreet Virdi
    • Title – Deception in Advertising on Consumer Behaviour
    • Selected students have undergone an Orientation on Basics of Research
    • The project got completed within the stipulated time and with the advice of Dr. Ishpreer Virdi, the project went a step further when we decided to send it for publication at a National Conference. The co-authors have created the first outlook of the paper under the sheer guidance of Dr.Ishpreet Virdi. The paper shall be published on DHS Foundation (ISO CERTIFIED 9001:2015) under UPACRI 2021: Universal Perficio Award & Conference on Recent Technologies & Innovations.
