The motto of Mata Sundri College is to enable its students to be an asset to both their families and the society at large. A focused mind and clear thinking are pre-requisites for any individual to take well informed and calculated decisions. Hence, the college values both, outer and inner well-being of its students, and for this we have an active and effective Counseling Cell that offers personal as well as vocational guidance. The college has a full time counsellor and the students can approach her and:

• The students can discuss their confusions regarding the choice of subjects at the time of admission.
• Discuss the professional scope of the stream of their choice as well as their prospects after the completion of their graduate studies.
• Their personal issues – emotional stress or peer pressure- which might be affecting their mental well-being.

Moreover, regular follow ups are conducted for the students so as to help them cope better with day to day activities. In the college, counselling for Life Skills and personality enhancement is also available for the students. The ex-students of the college are also encouraged to discuss their professional or personal concerns from time to time.
