The Department of Elementary Education has a well equipped laboratory with facilities for conducting science experiments, mathematics related activities , story telling sessions, screening of documentaries , art and craft activities etc. It has provision of an LCD projector and a smart board which are used during workshops, regular classroom discussions, project presentations and other activity sessions throughout the year.

It has the infrastructure which enables learning in small groups where students usually engage in carrying out experimental activities, design of experimental set ups as well as for design of art and craft materials etc.

The laboratory has a rich stock of various scientific equipments like microscopes, telescope, elctroscope, weighing balance, dissection sets, various apparatus required for conducting experiments, laboratory reagents, charts, plant and animal specimens.etc which the faculty and the students use whenever required to demonstrate simple experiments and for investigatory projects pertaining to their core natural science curriculum. It also has collection of mathematics kits , games and other aids which can be used for teaching Science and Mathematics to Elementary classes.
