National Cadet Corps : NCC
The NCC wing of the College is a part of the Army Wing of the National Cadet Corps with its headquarters in New Delhi. Our College is associated with 2 Delhi Girls Battalion, Rohini which directs the college in the training and selection of cadets at different competitions at National and State Level. Our Cadets participate in a myriad of activities throughout the year.
They are given basic military training in small arms, drill, first- aid, signals, weapons training, map reading, civil defense, para-slithering and parasailing activities. NCC instills a sense of nationalism in the youth and channelizes their energy in constructive pursuits. It helps to build leadership qualities, develops strong character, and inculcates the ideals of service in our youth. Besides providing adventure and excitement, NCC camps enhance cultural skills and promote a spirit of camaraderie among youth.

AIMS OF NCC

The aims of NCC were approved by the Ministry Of Defense in March 2001. They are as follows:

• To develop character, comradeship, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, the spirit of adventure, sportsmanship, and ideals of selfless service among the youth of the country.
• To create a human resource of organized, trained, and motivated youth, to provide leadership in all walks of life, and always be available for the service of the nation.
• To provide a suitable environment to motivate the youth to take up a career in the Armed Forces.
