Glimpse of PRASANG Journey

The Philosophical Association ‘PRASANG’ of the college organizes the aforesaid activities. The Annual News Letter (PAHEL) of the DOP involves the teachers and students to share their views on the emerging issues in the contemporary times related to the subject.

1. The Department began its semester with fresh admissions to its 2017 batch. The DOP organized its Association Meet on 12th September 2017. Students participated in two competitions : 1. Just a Minute 2. Guessing the Idiom.
2. The Department also held PTM wherein the teachers and parents interacted and discussed how to enhance the teaching process. Manpreet Kaur VIth Sem got 3rd prize in Classical Mmusic.
3. Orientation Programme and Alumni Meet were organized on the 20th of January 2018. Under the Orientation Programme some Alumni and Teachers shared their experience and tried to guide the students for their future endeavours. This Meet focused on providing the alumni a platform to share their experience of personal and professional development, which was followed by an interactive session.
   The speakers in the orientation programme comprised of some of our very successful alumni, notably Ms. Richa Singh who is a practicing lawyer in Delhi High Court, Ms. Madhurima Pandey is HR executive with an MNC, Ms. Sonal Jha who is a banker, Ms. Asha Sood who graduated in 1972 shared her experience as a NCC cadet in college during her time. Dr. Lakshmi Vats was also a prominent speaker of the orientation programme. Among the alumni that were present in the session, we had Ms. Nidhi Anand who will give her interview for the civil services and Ms. Sarika Singh who is a government employee.
