Music department of MSC organised a Performance based national online seminar/webinar by Dr Sarita Yajurvedi Pathak from Delhi. She is an eminent academician musicologists & musician, on 04-03-2021. Title was Celebration of Basant through Musical Composition. INTERNATIONAL WEBINAR ON JUMPING IN AND FOLLOWING MY ARTISTIC PATH

Music department of MSC organised online international seminar/webinar by Deborah Latz from USA. She is eminent western musicologists ,musician as well as Indian instrument player (sehnai) on 10-12-2020. Title was jumping in and following my artistic path, seminar started by the college prayer and then principal mam given a short lecture and best wishes to speaker , lecture had done very nicely this online seminar. Students and listeners enjoyed a lot. In end, Department head delivered vote of thanks.

INTERNATIONAL WEBINAR ON "JOURNEY AND PROSPECTS OF HINDUSTANI MUSIC FROM LOCAL TO GLOBAL"

Music department of MSC organised online international seminar/webinar by two eminent musicologists as well as musicians of Indian classical music first was Gayanacharey Pt. Vidyadhar from Vyas from India and second was Carsten wicke eminent Rudra Beena player from Germany as on 29-05-2020. Title was Journey and prospects of Hindustani music from local to global, seminar started by the college prayer. Principal mam also addressed the audience with the importance of the Indian classical music. In end, Department head delivered vote of thanks.

Music Department presented a national lecture demonstration series (3)topic is Ambidextrous approach of music, by eminent personality Dr Rajesh Sharma, from Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar Music Department (Punjab),on 9-09-2019.

Music department organised a lecture on sufi poetry and music ,on 30 August 2019, by eminent speaker Dr. Kiranjeet sethi from Department of English MSC,at music Lab 1.

LECTURE DEMONSTRATION AND WORKSHOP

Music Department organised two days lecture series. One was workshop by Music educator,as well as eminent artist Mrs. shivangini yeshu Yuvraaj. Another lecture demonstration by Associate professor Mrs. Neeta Mathur from Vivekanand college university of Delhi. First day topic was your ethnic music roots in the context of contemporary music. Second day topic was Musical embellishment. It was great session for the students as well as for faculty members.

LECTURE DEMONSTRATION ON "ROLE OF INSTRUMENTS IN VOCAL MUSIC"

Music department organised a lecture demonstration at music room, Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi, on 21-08-2018 morning 11.00 a.m. Lecture demonstration delivered by professor Suneera Kasliwal, head & dean Faculty of Music and Fine Arts, University of Delhi.Topic is “Role of instruments in Vocal Music”.

Music Department of MSC organised a lecture demonstration by professor Ojesh Pratap singh senior vocal Faculty, from Faculty of music and fine Arts University of Delhi as on 22-03-2017 on importance of music in human life. Lecture demonstration was very much wonderful informative and full of knowledge, after the session Department head given vote of thanks to principal mam students & music staff.
