TALK On 'Bhartiya Kala Sanrakshan Kee Paramparik Paddhatiyon ka Vaigyanik Vishleshan' BY DR. ANAND BURDHAN

The Department of Sanskrit organized a talk on 4th March 2020.Dr Anand Burdhan delivered a speech on the topic- “Bhartiya kala sanrakshan kee paramparik paddhatiyon ka vaigyanik vishleshan”. He is a heritologist and museum theorist. He is secretary of Museums Association of India who has rare credit to design National Philatelic Museum, New Delhi. He has authored several books.

The department of Sanskrit organized an International workshop on 2nd March 2020 . The topic was ‘The Status of Women in India and Russian Society’. Professor Eugenia Vanina, faculty of "Institute of Oriental studies, Moscow" and Dr Iffat Zarrin Assistant professor Department of Urdu, Mata Sundri College for women, delivered the speech .

Talk By Professor Sudhir Kumar Arya On 'Nationalism in Atharvaveda'

The Department of Sanskrit organised a talk on 18th March 2019. Professor Sudhir Kumar Arya from school of Sanskrit and Indic studies JNU, New Delhi, delivered a speech on the topic “Nationalism in Atharvaveda” . Speaker quoted the Bhumi sukta of Atharvaveda where Earth as the mother and humans as her sons.

Sanskrit Prashnamanch Shlokavritti Competitions in Saarang.

Sanskrit Prashnamanch Shlokavritti were organized by the Department of Sanskrit in Saarang, both these competitions were held on 20th February 2019.Dr.Satyamurti Professor of Sanskrit Department of Jawaharlal Nehru university and Dr. Abha Dev, retired professor of Mata Sundri College, was present as the chief guest on this occasion.
