Statistika - Department of Statistics in collaboration with Meraki - Department Of English organises a Counselling Workshop on Women on the topic 'Mental Health & Emotions' on 15 Sept 2023 at 01:00 pm in Mata Gujri Hall. Dr. Archana Verma is the Convener for the programme.

Teachers' Day Celebration

On September 5 2023, Students of STATISTIKA, the Department Of statistics, celebrated teachers’ day by organising a small surprise for all the lovely teachers of the department. The celebration started at 10:30 AM by welcoming the teachers and thanking them for all the efforts that they put in everyday.

ORIENTATION

On 16th August 2023, STATISTIKA, Department of Statistics, organized an orientation session for the freshers’ batch of 2023-2027. The session began with a warm welcome by Preet and Khushi of the new students, teachers and all the parents present there. With the blessings of God and recitation of the college prayer, the session moved forward with an introduction to the college, the faculty, and a brief summary of the curriculum going to be followed.

CAREER COUNSELLING SESSION

To guide and provide assistance to students in their career related decisions a Career Counselling Session was organised by Asymptote, Department of Mathematics in collaboration with Statistika, Department of Statistics and Milestone: Civil Services Society. This session was held on April 24, 2023 in Lab-V.

ANNUAL FEST

Stas-O-Maths

Stat-O-Maths'23 was held on April 12, 2023. It was jointly organised by Departmentof Mathematics & Statistics. This one-day annual fest was began at 10 am and concluded at 4 pm.

SEMINAR

Unlocking the Power of Data Science

On 20th March 2023, STATISTIKA, The Department of Statistics and UDDHAM, The Entrepreneurship cell of Mata Sundri College for Women, organized an appreciative seminar on the topic “UNLOCKING THE POWER OF DATA SCIENCE”, in which 90+ students participated.

LECTURE

TAX OF INCOME UNDER THE HEAD SALARY

A lecture on tax of income was organised by the Department of Statistics of Mata Sundri College for Women, Delhi University on January 16,2023 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd years students of Statistics Department.

7 DAYS WORKSHOP

SPSS MENTORSHIP PROGRAMME

With an objective to acquaint the students with a widely used statistical software- SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions), Statistika- The department of Statistics, Mata Sundri College for Women with collaboration with IQAC, organized a 7-days interdisciplinary workshop on SPSS which used to take place on weekends between 17th september - 8th october.

CAREER COUNSELLING SESSION

On September 15, 2022, Statistika, Department of Statistics, and Motivation to Master's Cell hosted a Career Counselling Session under the auspices of IQAC of Mata Sundri College, University of Delhi. The session started at 6:00 pm on Google Meet. The session was attended by more than 60 students, teachers, and alumni of the Department of Statistics.

TEACHERS' DAY

On September 5, 2022, the entire Department of Statistics celebrated Teacher's Day in offline mode after two whole years. It was a joyous occasion to see the entire department come out to celebrate their beloved teachers.

ANUGOONZ'22

ALUMNI MEET & CAREER COUNSELLING SESSION

Statistika, the Department of Statistics in collaboration with Central Alumni Committee of Mata Sundri College for Women organized "ANUGOONZ’22”, an alumni meet cum career guiding session on 19th January 2022. This meeting was held in order to reconnect with the alumni and celebrate their success and various achievements. It also served the purpose of facilitating the career related guidance to the junior students. The event took place on the online platform ZOOM.
