International Conference on “Recent Advances and Challenges in Finance and Marketing for New India @2022”

The Department of Commerce of Mata Sundri College for Women conducted an international Conference on “Recent Advances and Challenges in Finance and Marketing for New India @2022” on 06 - 07 September, 2019 at college campus with the objective of sensitizing delegates to various aspects of business challenges. The main purpose of the conference was to create a common platform, where national and international delegates came together and engaged in participative discussion on various emerging business challenges. The conference was a huge success by the collective efforts of Prof. (Dr.) Harpreet Kaur, Principal, Convenor, Dr. Renu Arora, Co-Convenors, Dr. Sharda Garg and Dr. Sapna Dhaliwal and Organising Secretary, Ms. Parvinder Kaur and all the faculty members of Commerce Department.

CORPORATE DIVA - the Self Made Icon

On 3 October 2019, Invictus, The commerce society of Mata Sundri college organized the departmental event. The theme of the Event was “Corporate Diva- the self made icon". The event was witnessed by over 450+ students and the special guests of the event were Dr. Amit Chaturvedi (regional director of IGNOU)and Mr. DP Singh. The event was commenced by the powering words of the principal Dr. Harpreet Kaur.

Technophelia

Invited interactive talk, Technophelia, was held on at Mata Sahib Kaur Auditorium. Prof. RK Singh, Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics provided the students with the insights into Information Technology, how it has mechanized our lives and has depleted our productivity He shared the practicalities of ‘Age Effects of Technology’ and introduced students with ‘Techno- optimist and Techno- pessimist’.
