FAMEX (Familiarization Exercise)

FAMEX (Familiarization Exercise) was organized by the Department of Environmental Studies in by District Disaster Management Authority, Central Delhi in collaboration with 8th Battalion, National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Ghaziabad, central Delhi on 19 January 2023 for the students, teaching and non-teaching staff members.

EVS Department of Mata Sundri College for Women organized an awareness event regarding e-waste management on 15 December 2022. The guest of honor was Mr. Shiv Chandr Jha, Associate Manager Operations of Attero Recycling Pvt.Ltd.

Department of Environmental Science had organized an "Eco-Friendly Festival Celebration" on 21 October 2022, Friday from 2:00 PM onwards in Common Room. Total participants of this event were 10.

Participatory Research Methods

Department of B.A. Programme & Department of Environmental Science in collaboration with the Library Progression Committee organized an event called "Participatory Research Methods" on 21 October 2022, Friday between 01:30 PM to 03:00 PM in room number 402. Total participants of this event were 42. The event began at 01:30 PM with the introduction of Dr. Kavita Singh. Followed by the introduction of Professor Pooja Wadhawan.

FIELD EXCURSIONS

As a part of the curriculum field trips were organized for the nature education where students were taken to Aravalli Biodiversity Park, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi, and Yamuna Biodiversity Park, near Wazirabad, New Delhi.

SHORT TERM INTERDISCIPLINARY CERTIFICATE COURSE

ENVIRONMENT AND SUSTAINABILITY

The Department of Environmental Studies and Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Mata Sundri College for Women conducted a short-term course on Environment and Sustainability supported by Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) and Eco Roots Foundation. The duration of the course was 30 hours, starting from April 8, 2021, to May 8, 2021.
