Department of Environmental Studies presented a movie screening :- Kadvi Hawa - a concern on climate change on 10 Nov, 2023 at 1:30 pm in Mata Gujri Hall. We received 30 registration for the event , and around 25 students attended it.

Cleanliness Drive

Under the campaign of UGC regarding celebration of Swachhata Pakhwada from 1st to 15 th September 2023, the activity for “CLEANLINESS DRIVE – Ek Tareekh Ek Ghanta" under the theme ‘Swachhata hi Seva" campaign. MATA SUNDRI COLLEGE FOR WOMEN, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI has participated in this CLEANLINESS DRIVE on September 29, 2023, being organised by DEPARTMENT OF Environmental Studies in collaboration with SWACHH CORE TEAM under the guidance of our convener Dr. Kavita Singh and coordinator Prof. Pooja Jaggi.

Under the aegis of Mission LIFE ( Lifestyle for Environment), introduced by the Honourable Prime Minister to rekindle a global pursuit to adopt sustainable lifestyle and practices, the University of Delhi is set out to organise a campaign in the form of a mass tree plantation drive. Department of Environmental Studies of MSCW in collaboration with Gardening Committee and Swachh Core Team (MSCW) organises - PLANTATION DRIVE on 28 August, 2023 at 12:30 pm in College Campus.

Department of Environmental Science and Swachh Core Team of Mata Sundri College for Women in collaboration with Municipal Corporation of Delhi(MCD) organized workhop-”NIVARAN”-Plastic Waste Management on 3rd July,2023 at 11:00 AM in Mata Gujri Hall. The guest speaker of the workshop was Mr.Vikas Gupta (JE Dems Dept. , MCD), Mr.Balkishan(SI Sanitary Inspector, MCD) , Mr. Yashpal(SI Sanitary Inspector, MCD) and Sapna Yadav(AG Enviro Infra Projects pvt.ltd, IEC Head).
