North East Welfare Cell has been established in the college. With the rise of racial abuse against the people from North East region, the North East Welfare Cell ensures that any kind of discrimination and harassment is prevented. It has created a congenial atmosphere in which students from North East States feel safe and secure. The students have been sensitized on issues relating to security, cultural and linguistic differences. A page has been created on social networking site ‘Facebook’ and 24X7 helpline numbers ensures that the students are in contact with the nodal officers. In the last couple of years, the number of students from North East taking admission in our college has seen a marked increase.
