A Two Day Workshop

Researching on dynamic Economic issues: Special Focus on India's Middle Class

A two day workshop was organized by Department of Economics, Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi in association with B.A. (Programme) Society and Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in Collaboration with Meghnad Desai Academy of Economics on 6-7 November 2020.The purpose of the workshop was to enlighten the students regarding the basic foundation, situation and critical issues of the middle class society of India. It made them learn and identify the structure, terminology and potential areas of research in this broad spectrum of arena.

International Lecture

Lecture Series on Development issues: India and Brazil

The Department of Economics in collaboration with the B.A. (Programme) Society organized a talk on "Development Issues: India and Brazil" on October 22, 2019. The department had invited Mr. Elias Luna A. Santos, Minister-Counsellor, Trade and Economic Affairs, Embassy of Brazil, New Delhi. The talk was a part of the International Lecture Series organised by the college.

Hands on training usage of world bank open data

Workshop on Hands on training usage of world bank open data was held by Department of Economics in collaboration with IQAC on 13th February,2019 in computer lab. A large number of Students participated in the workshop.

Swachh Bharat Internship

Swatch Bharat Internship was started on 4th June, 2018 at Mukundpur Village,Begumpur and Kalu Sarai Sixteen girls participated in this event. Under this internship they had conducted surveys, organized rallies, Nukad Natak and many other swatchta related activities.
