National Service Scheme : NSS

The College has an active wing of National Service Scheme.lt provides ample opportunities for students to serve society and also helps in their personal development .The motto of N.S.S. is “Not me but you” an important principle in inculcating a sense of social and civic responsibility among students. Various activities related to social service and welfare are carried out throughout the year under NSS. Activities like Poster making Competitions, tree plantation drive, cleanliness drive, training for self defence, seminars, paper reading contests, quiz, lectures on health related issues help in overall development of the students.

Swachhata Pakhwada (16.01.2020 to 31.01.2020)
The following activities were conducted in the college while observing Swachhata Pakhwada:

1. Oath taking by NSS Students to help their surroundings clean.
2. 'Poster Making Competition' on the themes of " Clean India" and "Forest Conservation".
3. Competition on making "Best-out of waste" items for use and display.
4. Plantation drive in College Campus
5. Awareness Rally on Cleanliness covering college complex and nearby area.
6. Cleaning of various areas in the college by NSS Volunteers

National Yoga Day was celebrated in the college premises on 21st June last year in which our college students, Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff actively participated.

On 27th and 28th July a Voter's Identity Card Camp was organised. The SDM officer interacted with the students and informed them about the process of acquiring a Voter's Identity Card.

A Poster Making Competition was organized on the topic: 'Beti Bachao Beti Padao' On the occasion of Constitution Day a lecture was organized on the importance of Fundamental Duties.
