The Craft exhibition was held on 7th june, 2023, 1PM onwards. All the students had displayed their craft work in the rooms of the department on the second floor. Impeccable crafts and paintings like paper mache, warli art, madhubani art, newspaper dolls, tissue flowers and the like were displayed. The principal ma'am along with the other professors visited and looked around the exhibition.They visited all the sections and looked at the work of each and every child. The students showed their craft material with enthusiasm and told them about their making and history. All the students were wearing their handmade newspaper caps while presenting their work. The students honoured principal ma’am by giving her a few of their craft work articles and a beautiful handmade painting. The exhibition was wrapped up after 4pm

An exhibition of teaching- learning materials and theatre performances by B.EL.ED. I, II & III year students was organized on 12th April 2019 at Mata Sundri College. The event aimed at bringing forth the work done by the students of B.El.Ed. in various practicums. It is meant to create spaces for dialogue and discussion around resources and pedagogical techniques wherein students from all 4 years come together. Students of I year had also put up theatre performances under the able guidance of Mr. Lokesh Jain. Students, teachers and Principals of the neighbouring schools also visited the same.

B.El.Ed. I year, II year and III year put up an annual exhibition of teaching learning resources created by them under various practicums namely Crafts, storytelling and Children’s Literature and Material Development & Evaluation on Monday, 23 April 2018 at Tutorial halls, Ground floor, Mata Sundri College. School teachers and students from neighboring schools were also invited to the exhibition.

A talk by Prof. Apoorvanand Jha was organized by the B.El.Ed Department on Feb 08, 2017 for students. Prof Jha initiated the talk by a reflection on school textbooks and how our education system failed to expose us to the events leading to assassination of Mahatama Gandhi. Various events during the independence, partition, Hindu-Muslim disputes were explained.The talk followed by a fabulous performance by our theatre resource persons Mr. Lokesh Jain and Ms. Jaimala Iyer. It revolved around incidents from history, where powerful and influential people have tried to curb anyone who steps away from the line or doesn’t conform to the uniformity.

The Department of Elementary Education as a part of its Decennial Anniversary Celebrations organized a Logo Making competition on October 10, 2016 and an exhibition displaying the entries by students for the competition on October 18, 2016. These logos symbolized and summarized students’ perceptions, understanding and creative expression of the Departmental ethos, academic rigor and its spirit that mark its ten year journey. The students participated in large numbers from each year and gave in creative and thoughtful entries.
