Webinar on ABC of Cyber Footprints

The department of Elementary Education organized a Webinar on "ABC of Cyber Footprints"on 5th November 2020. Cyber footprint is the data trail you leave with everything you do online. From your smartphone to the Internet and social networks, your data is being stored. Everyone is relying on online transactions and some get duped also. Youth are getting caught in this web and they don’t know the way out. The resource persons, Ms. Pooja Malhotra (Cyber security counselor & Author) and Mr. Sangam Singh Kochar (Advocate, Supreme Court) made the audience aware about cyber laws and the correct usage of it.

A Webinar on Plagiarism: Causes and Consequences

Department of Elementary Education organized a webinar on "Plagiarism: Causes and Consequences" on 24th Nov 2020. Many a times people may or may not be aware as to what constitutes plagiarism in the first place. Hence, awareness building is the first step towards curbing plagiarism. This would help students to maintain the academic integrity and ethics in research, as expected in the present scenario. This webinar was an attempt by the department to enhance awareness on the issue for students and faculties alike.

Online Two Days Teachers’ Orientation Workshop

Students of B.El.Ed. (II & III year) attended a virtual two days online National teacher's orientation programme organized by National Museum of Natural History(NMNH), New Delhi on GoToMeeting platform dated 05 & 06 September, 2021 from 11am onwards. Ms. Divya Sharma (Assistant Professor, MSC) coordinated the event with NMNH for B.El.Ed. students.

Online National Seminar on Elementary Education in India

On 24th September, 2021, an insightful and memorable online National Seminar on “Elementary Education in India” was organised by the Department of Elementary Education, Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi. The Co-convenor, Ms. Divya Sharma opened the session with a brief introduction about the seminar and invited the Convenor Dr. Ravneet Kaur who proceeded the session with a warm welcome to the speakers and participants.
